Every
4 seconds an animal is euthanized in a US shelter. Statistics
show 5-6 million pets are euthanized anually in the US!
We have spayed/neutered and treated 267
cats since November 2004. Some strays, and some whose owners could not afford the surgery or vaccinations. We
have assisted 71 dogs in the same manner. The total of our veterinarian
bills as of March 2010 is $35,000. We see the difference
in not only the health of the dogs and cats, but also the attitude of the pet owners. Education and word
of mouth are paying off. "Old age means realizing you will never own all the dogs you wanted to."
